Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon – Canyoning Adventure in Ardèche
For athletes and adventure lovers in Ardèche, try our Grand Canyon programme during your stay: this canyoning descent offers a thrilling route across the Ardèche mountains in the heart of the Tanargue.
The meeting point for this incredible activity is on the communal road connecting Les Chambons to Chazalette, in front of the sign “Escalade en Ardèche.” From there, we walk 10 minutes downhill before starting the first jump.
Jumps follow one after another, including the “Grand Gour” jump, where a rope can be installed for those hesitant to jump. This activity is characterised by lots of swimming, jumps, few slides, downclimbs, and passages under rocks.
The Grand Canyon is a physically demanding route, including the 45-minute return walk, recommended for athletes and adventurers from 12 years old. Don’t forget a picnic to enjoy with your feet in the water!
