SUPERVISED ACTIVITIES
Base Canyon offers supervised activities to a well-informed public, with the understanding that:

• In canyoning, only the “Kids Canyon” route is accessible from 5 years old, with a minimum weight of 16 kg and a minimum shoe size of 28.
• In caving, only the “Family” route is accessible from 5 years old, with a minimum weight of 20 kg.
• Via Ferrata is accessible only from 45 kg and a minimum height of 1.40 m (via ferrata lanyard limits).
• The Giant Abseil at Autridge is accessible from 12 years old.

FOR ALL OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES, Participants must:

• Be able to swim and not be afraid of water (for canyoning),
• Be able to walk for several hours on uneven, steep and slippery terrain,
• Be in good health, with no medical contraindications to outdoor or white-water sports,
• Inform the guide of any medical history or health issues BEFORE the activity,
• Not overestimate their physical abilities.

Parental consent is required for any minor over 14 years old practicing an activity independently.
Participants acknowledge the inherent risks of these activities and accept them knowingly.
For group bookings, the person making the reservation agrees to inform and have these terms accepted by ALL participants.

SUPERVISION
All activities are supervised by qualified and certified guides. Each participant must follow the rules and instructions given by the guide. Guides reserve the right to refuse one or more participants (bad behavior, alcohol consumption, physical inability, etc.) for safety reasons.

MEETING POINT & LATE ARRIVAL
A meeting time is always provided. A maximum delay of 15 minutes is tolerated. Beyond this, the activity will start and no refund or compensation will be granted.

PHOTO SERVICE
Photo services are not included. Some guides or photographers may offer this independently. These services are entirely separate from our organization.

LOSS / DAMAGE OF PERSONAL ITEMS
The use of personal electronic devices (camera, phone, etc.) is under your sole responsibility. No compensation will be provided in case of loss or damage.
Base Canyon is not responsible for lost or forgotten items. Shipping back items is possible at your expense after payment.

CANCELLATION
In case of cancellation without justification:

• 10 to 5 days before the activity: 50% retained
• 4 to 2 days before: 75% retained
• Less than 2 days or no-show: 100% retained. Places may be resold if we are informed.

No refund for withdrawal during the activity.
In case of force majeure, proof is required within two days. A 10% fee will be retained.
For minors, reimbursement applies to the minor and one accompanying adult.
The Base or guide may cancel or postpone the activity due to safety or weather conditions. In such cases, all paid amounts will be refunded.

INSURANCE
Base Canyon does not provide Individual Accident insurance. Each participant must have personal coverage.

IMAGE RIGHTS
Base Canyon may use photos taken during activities for promotional purposes unless otherwise stated by the participant.

PRICES
Prices include supervision by a certified guide and all necessary equipment. Prices are in euros, VAT included.
